Tremble Pass

Tremble_Pass.png

Tremble Pass is one of three routes across the Black Riage, and the only one that is navigable year-round. As a result, it has become the most well-traveled by those who would seek travel to the Beyond, such as the pilgrims of the Wandering Walk. The pass is a thin ridge cut into the side of the mountain, barely wide enough for two wagons to pass side by side, and although dozens of people perish on the pass each year from accidents and collisions alone, the pilgrims who travel it still risk the perilously narrow path.

Other threats along the pass include avalanches, acid rain, mudslides, lightning storms, earthquakes, gas explosions, spontaneous molecular recombination, and bear attacks, but these occur too infrequently to account for more than a couple dozen deaths per year.
